We acknowledge that we collaborate on Treaty One lands and dedicate ourselves to our work with heartfelt commitment. We honor and recognize this beautiful land as the traditional gathering place and the ancestral territories of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Anisininew, Dakota, Lakota, and Dene peoples, as well as the national homeland of the Red River Métis. These communities have lived, traveled, and gathered on these lands for thousands of years. We approach this land with deep respect and pay tribute to our Elders, both past and present.
